I suffered from horrible allergies...
Prior to me starting to work here, I suffered with horrible allergies. I was forced to take daily doses of anti-histamines to cope with the sneezing and watery eyes. This sometimes prevented me from working and costing me quite a bit in allergy medication. The only way I could find relief was to stay inside on high pollen days or to take multiple daily doses of over the counter allergy medications. After receiving chiropractor care, I noticed the frequency of allergy outbreaks decreased more and more. As of now, it has been over six months since my last allergy attack and there is no need for costly daily doses of allergy medications. ~ Ryan H.
I discovered I had a pinched nerve...
My wife, Quencilia, had been seeing Dr. Ennis for quite some time and had been telling me about how much it has helped, but I was too stubborn. I discovered I had a pinched nerve so bad that I had to purchase a walker just to walk around. I own a business of maintenance repair and inspection and couldn’t work because of the pain. I went to my general practice doctor and was prescribed Vicodin and other pain medications and that really didn’t work. I finally decided to start chiropractor care with Dr. Ennis in August of 2009. Good thing because I saw results right away. I was back to myself in no time and I was able to go back to work. I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy and taking Ritalin for the past thirty-five years...
Prior to my first initial treatment with Dr. Ennis, I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy and taking Ritalin for the past thirty-five years. I also suffered from a stiff neck and massive headaches. When I had started my first initial treatment with Dr. Ennis, on July 28, 2010, I came in very tired. I was up until 3am and probably could have stayed up throughout the night. I had missed my 2:00pm dose of Ritalin but couldn't really figure out why I was still awake. My treatments were good in the beginning and I was able to do stuff but couldn't figure out why I was like a wind up doll. That wasn't a good thing because it started to show in my appearance; sunken eyes with dark circles, shaky etc. My blood pressure had elevated. I had never gone to bed before 3-5:00am!
On July 31st, the third day after starting with Dr. Ennis, I had completely stopped my 2:00pm dose of Ritalin cutting my dosage in half! Continuing that for going on thirty-two days, on Sept 2, 2010, I was down from 14 pills a week to 3 pills a week! Also on the plus side, I am now able to turn my head from side to side even though there was some sort of discomfort at the end of the turn. After about five weeks without my afternoon dose of Ritalin, I also started to notice that my body was functioning like it was supposed to! Correct signals are now being sent for the brain and connecting with my system. Like it should have been all of these years! So as I was sharing my excitement with a friend of mine over the phone, it finally clicked! Ritalin is an amphetamine, so when you give it to a "normal" person, it's like giving them speed so it's going to make them wired! It dawned on me; maybe I am a "normal" person. I mean a person without Narcolepsy.
As of September 26, 2010, I am completely off of Ritalin! I have no episodes of uncontrollable sleepiness or falling asleep at the wheel like I have done before. I will consider myself cured! Now as of October 26, 2010 I AM COMPLETELY CURED OF NARCOLEPSY! It has been a solid month off the Ritalin with still no more yawning and I am now in control of when I sleep. My biggest test was going to be my trip out of town and having to drive four straight hours and falling asleep at the wheel but case closed! This girl is cured!
I feel like a normal person now. I no longer have to be sure that I have Ritalin on me or on my key chain just in case of a sleep attack. I am now a free person. I don't need Ritalin for my safety. God and Dr. Ennis made a great team in my recovery. I came to Dr. Ennis because of my stiff neck and pain and was given a BONUS of being cured of Narcolepsy. I gained mobility of my neck. Dr. Ennis is very knowledgeable and I trust him 100%. This is truly a miracle! My primary care doctor told me I would never be cured from it. Since it is treatable not curable. UNTIL NOW! I am completely sold on chiropractor care you get faster results! I am now fully convinced you need monthly maintenance visits to stay aligned as a preventative care measure. I suffered with lower back pain...
Prior to coming to Dr. Ennis I suffered with lower back pain. Even though the pain didn’t prevent me from doing anything, the pain itself was still there no matter what I had to do. Some days were better than others, but nevertheless, there was always some sort of pain. I had tried everything as well. I tried heat packs and ice packs and they just provided me only minor relief. After coming to Dr. Ennis, almost immediately my back pain was gone after my first few treatments.
Additionally, I have always had bad allergies. My allergist told me I was allergic to almost everything outside. (i.e. trees, grass, pollen, etc.) I started to see improvement in my allergies so I stopped getting my shots. The shots were also very expensive which is the main reason I had stopped using them. After three months without a shot and during the fall season change, when my allergies have been the worst, I never had any problems with my allergies. After speaking with another patient of Dr. Ennis, who told me they were seeing him for allergies, I realized that my own allergy problems had to have been subsided by my continuous care. I see Dr. Ennis every three to four weeks and will continue for as long as possible. To me, it is amazing how getting an adjustment can make your everyday life so much better. ~ Cameron
I have been struggling with back and neck pain for years...
I was in my first car accident in 1995 and never sought the appropriate treatment. I began seeing Dr. Ennis and still continue to visit for regular adjustments. At one point I had to take pain relievers for my neck and back pain to allow me to function in my daily life. Since I have been visiting Dr. Ennis I no longer have to take pain medicine other than the occasional Advil for a headache (which is typically why I’m due for an adjustment). I am pretty rough on my body with the stress of my daily job, which is spent at a computer for eight to ten hours with added hours in the evening.
I have also had a habit of sleeping on my stomach; I have learned that this is very bad for my neck and back. So, I have learned to change my sleeping habits at the advice of Dr. Ennis and as a result I have noticed relief in my neck and lower back. I also have noticed a better quality to my moods through my treatments with Dr. Ennis and his team. It is very difficult to find a doctor’s office where the staff is pleasant and friendly on a regular basis. I know that not once have I been in and not greeted with a smile and friendly welcome throughout my visit. If I ever go into the office having had a bad day, I always leave in a better mood.
